Need accessibility assistance at LGA?
LGA provides a variety of accessibility services to ensure a comfortable and accessible experience throughout our terminals. If you need mobility assistance or help navigating between gates, terminals, or security, we recommend arranging support in advance with your airline.
Traveling with pets and service animals
Travelers accompanied by a pet or service animal should notify their airline before arriving at the airport. Airlines can advise on onboard accommodations, seasonal limitations, and any paperwork needed to prevent delays or complications.
Pets must remain inside approved carriers while in the terminal and stay with their owners at all times. Service animals do not need to be in carriers but must remain leashed by their handlers throughout the airport.
Does your pet or service animal need a break? If your animal needs a relief break, designated pet and service animal relief areas are located in every terminal. Please use the available materials to clean up after your animal. If an accident occurs outside a relief area, please clean it up and alert airport staff. Relief area locations can be found using the interactive map opens in a new tab, by asking an Airport Customer Experience Specialist (ACES), or by contacting terminal staff.
